Welcome to Hoover

             While we’re pretty sure your neighbors have beat us to it, we’d like to be the first to welcome you to Hoover Neighborhood. This is a dynamic time to be part of the neighborhood. Not only does Hoover represent Tulsa’s historic boomtown past, it’s standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the city’s progressively bright future.

     

             But beyond its heritage and prime location to the best of everything the city has to offer, what truly makes Hoover unique are the neighbors. Which is why, as a neighborhood association, we work hard to promote community engagement through special events and projects that celebrate Hoover and bring neighbors together. We encourage you to consider joining the Hoover Neighborhood Association and get actively involved. Neighborhood Association meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month, September through May.

 

           The HNA supports a number of great things in the neighborhood, such as:

• Block parties

• Annual neighborhood-wide garage sale

• Darlington Park upgrades

• Neighborhood beautification projects

           The neighborhood association also accepts nominees for open Board positions as well as volunteers looking to join any of our committees.
